Finally saw the black roof decal everyone's been mentioning
I've been wondering when I would see the roof decal everyone was talking about. Not sure how I feel about it. I like the idea of the orange still being there when the targa top is removed.
Also, its seems like everyone that's ordering SO is ordering it with the design package. I'm not sure I've seen one without yet.
My buddy picked his up Tuesday from the Museum, and noticed that they forgot to put the halo decal on. He's getting it, but not going to put it on. I think I like it better without.

One thing I don't like with the ZR1 is the way you close the trunk. You have to either reach over or under the spoiler to close it or to put anything in the hatch. But then again, it's not a grocery getter!

This car has ZTK but no end plates on the front splitter. I thought that was part of the package? I’ve noticed this on several other ZTK cars. Anybody know what the deal is?

GM recommends the tall end caps for track use only per the PDI instructions.

SO is an available color throughout the corvette lineup, however the SO design package is exclusive to ZR1 including the halo sticker thing lol. I played around with many color options in configurator and it just overrides to design package content. There is going to be a lot of oranges in the bunch😉

how did you manage to get them? Any extra things you have to do to track your Vert?
The halo is the piece across the roof between the top and the hatch. If you look at the pictures, you'll see it's black in the op's post, and doesn't have the black decal in my pics, so it's orange.
This so called Halo or whatever is a small detail not be worried about, black or body color, is it that important really folks?
Every detail about a Corvette is important. This is a common detail actually, at least back to the C6 where some would black it out.
I like the idea of if being blacked out, but I agree with Steven that it should really match the top. So, if the top is carbon fiber I would have personally preferred the halo to be carbon fiber as well.

Thanks....I know all about the SO and the SODP being exclusive to ZR1. My comment was more about I’ve yet to see a SO car without the design package. I ordered mine without.
Xpat, it's important to some and not important to others-I understand why you ask. But if aftermarket people are making these, it must be important enough.
