I know many of you might not know what I am talking about, but has anyone built and purchased one through USAA. I just built one and it was almost 8k under MSRP.

So what are people actually paying for their ZR1s?

Thanks in advance for your responses. My decisions time is approaching rapidly.
MSRP from Kerbeck in Atlantic City NJ.

As long as people pay sticker or over dealers will keep gouging. If it's a low volume car that's their justification and there is always somebody that will pay the dealer price

He flat out refused to pay that, and they wiggled a little to bring the markup down to $6k over but he refused, willing to pay MSRP (as opposed to % over invoice). Their retort was that Raptor demand was so high they went through their allocation months back and were now selling ones purchased from other dealers in lower-demand markets that they had to buy at MSRP themselves (lying? a salesman's lips were moving). Anyway, cut to the chase and we walked out and he let us...with 12+ Raptors sitting on their lot.
You just have to stick to your plan. It may take a little looking but there is a dealer that will deal

- See my post #40. It didn't take long at all actually. Thanks to the forum references.

Spoke with my local dealer with which I have purchased a few corvettes from. They spoke to the owner knowing I was a repeat customer and told me I would get MSRP. Located in So Cal. Glad you find a good deal on one.
