Removable Top Alignment Issues
I am experiencing removable top alignment issues. Upon returning from my NCM delivery this week, I noticed the windshield body pillars at the top where they join up with the roof panel jot out more, thus is not a smooth flowing transition. On two Z06’s viewed today, the roof panel flows into the windshield pillars (no jot out).
I released the roof clamp downs, the roof panel rises a bit and the transition is flowing as expected.
I suspect the roof panel is being drawn down too far, thus sitting lower causing the issue. My thinking is the factory missed this alignment as part of the QA process. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Is the roof panel height adjustable when fully clamped down? How easy is this or should I take back to the dealer? Many thanks in advance.

Here are the pics of both sides whereby I am standing next to the roof panel looking towards the front of the car. Body windshield pillars are jotting outward roughly 1/4" on both sides.
The two 2019 Z06's I viewed do not demonstrate this, the pillars transitioned to the top at the same height. Was not able to view another ZR1.
Perhaps this is inherent on the ZR1? With all the attention placed on quality control on the ZR1, I just can't see Bowling Green missing these clearly visible areas. It is plain off day obvious. I was so pumped at the NCM, I am disappointed I missed it. Not like they would have addressed right there, they would have just directed me to my dealer.

Let the dealer worry about it.

Any other ZR1 owners experiencing the same?

What is going on at the factory when a car is released with this alignment problem and no one sees it. When is the great management team going to pay more attention to QA instead pushing cars out the door and letting the dealers fix these problems. Why didn't the museum have this fixed and none of their detailers saw it, what is going on.
