Will 2019 ZR1 beat the 2019 NA GT3 RS at the 'Ring?

Or just putting up the white flag. We'll find out if a time isn't published. Tadge didn't mention anything at the Bash, unless he saved it for Jay Leno's show which he's appearing on tomorrow, but that was probably pre-recorded a while back.

Maybe I read it wrong, but to me it looked like that's what it said.
I'm sorry, if this is true it is downright embarrassing.

Sharing time isn’t embarrasing it’s smart.
Behond that, Porsche is spinning this in the media. You bought into the spin. Porsche are experts in brand image.
Cheater tire and a/c delete, and this is the story. Amazing.

As for the “cheater” tires, I believe the Corvette was first, followed by Dodge, Ford, Mercedes, Lamborghini, and now Porsche. All are now using R compund tires.
As for the GT3 RS, the lap time is indicative of an incredibly well tuned suspension, R compound tires, an engine that is likely producing more HP than the 520 HP claimed by Porsche, extremely well balanced aero, and a driver with massive titanium bal*s.

Modifications to the car’s chassis were informed by the knowledge gleaned from the 911 GT2 RS launched last year. The new 911 GT3 RS has the same spring rates front and rear as its turbocharged stablemate. At the front, those spring rates amount to double that seen on either the current 911 GT3 or previous 911 GT3 RS, and the rear spring rate has increased by 40%. Like the 911 GT2 RS, rose joints are used throughout the front and rear suspension, while the rear-wheel steering system has been extensively reprogrammed.

- A while back the Lambo Galado AWD had a track tire spec.
- The base GT3 through our mags fashioned a concept of the working RWD 911.

I am aware of zero evidence for Corvette using a cheater tire. Please correct me if I am wrong. A claim by Mercedes does not constitute evidence. I am aware that Michelin and the respective auto manufacturers also indicate that each version of the Cup 2 is developed for each respective chassis. Again, doesn't constitute a cheater tire as each manufacturer has a cup 2 developed for their respective chassis.

Why doesn't chevy "cheat" and offer an AC delete to save 30lbs and offer a forged wheel package to drop another 25+lbs off the car.
Are we building "the most track capable" corvette ever to steal a line from Z06 marketing or a cars and coffee cruiser.
Porsche isnt playing around.

I agree Porsche brings it's A-game, complaining about features that make a car faster just sounds like excuses for not caring enough to win in my humble opinion...Ford put carbon fiber wheels on a Mustang for crying out loud and released a Ring time.

Nurburgring Special Edition!
- DSSV
- Lighter weight wheels
- All Weissech type stuff stripped
- N-spec tires
- Race fuel tank, if applicable
They have to engage Porsche! They use the excuse that they don't have the same buyers.
This FME model has a legacy that they need to protect. They honestly are damaging the Corvette brand leaving it as is, period!

Look forward to read the actual article on this with a few questions:
Was it stripped?
Did it have track tires or street tires?
Also I am bit puzzled...it has been a full year since the launch of the 911 GT2RS and there is not a single test (weight, configuration, track numbers) on American tracks? The number ONE market for the 911??
