Trying to track my car with Onstar

I got my dealer to mark as sold and turn on On-star. I down loaded the App for my smartphone. All I see is the parked location tab and it wants to GPS where i am standing not the car.
What am I doing wrong to track my car.

Call OnStar and set up your pin. Once that’s done the vehicle’s location should show up after entering it into the app. Good luck!
