Is there anything out there? I need these Mexico tests.
I think the Mac would win a roll run in a Mexico test though. Those 2 are 2 of the hottest cars out there right now.

720s will eat the ZR1 alive for lunch and dinner..
ZR1 barely won against a Demon till 120mph, Check in youtube a video of Demon vs 720s... Demon was slaughtered alive, ZR1 will not be any different.

That's what the Nurburgrings for! ;)
A 720s driver would be pushing up roses there.
McLaren's not showing up there with these cars for some reason.
Their speedy concept, racing engine - low drag, and weight, doesn't work there!

I saw that video. I don’t think the ZR1 will not represent though. It will be up there.

Yeah, but, that's a joke! ;)
It will be like racing a motorcycle on track.

Apples to Apples , speed costs money , how fast do you want to go?The ZR-1 costs 140k , 720S double that , the AventadorS triple that. I am sure when the speed shops modify the ZR-1 it will be right there with the high end expensive alternatives or better...

720S is closer to 400k. This is a just a fun conversation.

Few things ....
1. The fact that anyone even wants to see this race is a testament to Chevy. They really built a badass machine.
2. While I myself would actually love to see this race dig/roll i think the trap speeds alone show the 720s would walk away fairly easily and it should for the price anyway.
None the less the ZR1 A8 with some bolt ons/pulley would be right there with the the 720S and probably beat it. That is pretty ****** sick!

Manual ZR1 vs Auto demon ... The question was A8 ZR1 .. It would do much better but still lose to a 720s.

720s runs 9.7 @ 143mph on the OEM Pirelli Corsa street tire
ZR1 so far has run a best of 10.1 @ 135 on a drag radial
It won't be close from a stop or from a roll. But like others have said you could buy 2.5 ZR1s for the cost of a 720s. ZR1 with a pulley and tune should be able to give it a good run.

It's fairly well known by now that the McLaren is pretty massively under-rated. It's likely turning close to 800HP at the crank and it weighs a fair bit less than the ZR1. There's really little chance the ZR1 would be much of a challenge for it.
