I'm not sure if there's any official data yet. My friends at the plant have used a wee bit of hyperbole in saying, "Every ZR1 we're building is orange." Obviously not every one is, but it's an insanely popular color. So much so the plant guys are commenting in its numbers.

I've seen it in person 4 times. If you think it's ANYTHING like a McLaren Inferno Orange or highly metallic/deep tones with lots of color, you're thinking wrong. It's nothing like what GM portrayed in their promotion pictures. And that's a shame because it looks really good in the promotion pictures. Yes it has some sparkle in the direct sun but it's nothing compared to a true paint with depth. It's quite flat unless you have nothing to compare it to.
For the life of me, I'm not sure why GM doesn't start doing some better colors, not necessarily different shades but high sparkle/metallic and better depth, less orange peel. But I'm nitpicking.
Also, the caliper color and painted stripe on the trim is a different color, very similar to a rusty orange and not the same as the body color at all. I don't know why they did that either.

Yea I agree completely after Streetspeed/Youtubers and many posts on the forums with the Orange I'm just not a fan, just personal preference.

The c7 in its new orange is a stunning combo...
I don’t think I would order a car in that color either but I do admire its beauty...
I am more comfortable with more traditional colors like torch red, white or black as I tend to keep my sportscars a longer period of time than most...
If I were leasing I would definitely order up Sebring orange for fun.

Looks like a cool color, but if im shelling out 140k, it wont be Orange. That would just draw way to much attention for me.

If not for the Internet, I believe no one would be complaining about everyone ordering SO. I live next to the richest county in the country. I see Corvettes all the time but have yet to see a SO one in any form or fashion, let alone a ZR1 in SO. I think we loose perspective because of how small the Internet makes the world seem.

Upon placing my March 1st order for my 2019 Sebring Orange ZR1 I was totally obsessed with the color. I loved it!
I've been preparing for its arrival by scoping out all sorts of orange accessories..I even bought a ZR1 jacket that had orange sleeves while anxiously waiting for that elusive build date.
But now, after weeks and weeks and more weeks of waiting for that order acceptance and obsessively looking at pictures on the web and watching Sebring Orange ZR1's on you-tube videos...
I feel like I've grown tired of it and ready for a change.
I decided to trade in the Orange and my next Cyber ZR1 is going to be Arctic White. I called my sales guy and changed my order...its official my second cyber ZR1 is going to be Arctic White!
Hopefully I'll actually get it before I decide I'm bored with that color too.

More power to all that ordered that color and are happy with it, which is all that really counts. That said, I will say, that at least on the net, I sure am tired of seeing the orange already. I have never liked orange on any car going all the way back to the 69 Z28 cars that some ordered in Orange with white stripes. I never liked any of the burnt orange variations that were on the C6 cars either. But that’s my opinion. I’m happy for the people that are happy with their orange car.
