The other popular youtuber is Doug DeMuro, who makes 2 videos a week and each one gets 1M views easy. Wonder how Doug stacks up...
Typical **** show here on the forum,
good for the kid who makes tons of money doing what he likes, why are u butt hurt ?? If u are smart enough go do the same,
most of u here are dreamers or old fossils and you can’t comprehend something like that, it’s his job to play with cars, post them on YouTube and make money.

I'm not "butthurt" I already said in my post is that he is a genius for making tons of money.
Just that his channel is not my style. I watch plenty of other car youtubers that, imo, is way better.
I have no jealousy.
If he makes 35-40k a month, then with my current career I'm earning about 85-90% of what he earns on a monthly basis. (so maybe I'm like 10% jealous? lol...)

If it was his they can't show it as new on the ad? Never was titled in his name or it still would not have the driving school offered. They are calling a dealer demo it looks like. Have to see what happens with it!

Car has hit 140k. You can find them now under MSRP several ads on Autotrader that seem legit. Interesting if we find what happens with this one. Car was shown on you tube several times. Video on needs new tires. Video on the dyno. Video on the dragstrip. Video on how it is his car. Video with the x-pipe.. Video where it is just abused. This car is USED!
Then the car is listed as new. I think the buyer could come back after finding out all this and sue over all the false advertisement relied on to buy the car. Some have lost their minds.

Car has been worked a bit, but it hasn't been abused. I agree, seller should be fully transparent on the rig, though.

THEN someone is showing it as new?

LOL. One morning (not a whole day, just one morning) at a road course track would work that car far harder than what it's been worked so far.
And I agree he needs to be transparent on the sale, and in fact said so.

Appears Speed street is not involved in the sale, the dealer or the real owner is selling it. If they keep going with the "new" on the paper work. Someone could have 140k in recourse coming. It is very clear it is misrepresented as new with plenty of proof.

The point is it is not new, it is used. Maybe it had a morning or two at the road course? You have no idea.

My guess that the x-pipe is removed and put back to factory standard. Technically, the car is new since it wasn't titled to its first retail customer. At best, it is a demo car and as such a $10K discount would be appropriate.

I wouldn't consider the car abused. Maybe ran hard would be a better way of describing it but most people who get a ZR1 or even a Z06 are going to run them hard at some point. Now whether he followed proper break in procedure and if it matters or not is a different story. I do agree that the dealer needs to come clean and explain that it was lent out to someone and not driven by one of their own employees, even if he is put on as an employee just to get around the demo thing. It is a little shady in the way they are presenting it but it doesn't surprise me a car dealer would do this. Also would't surprise me if the people bidding didn't even pay attention to the mileage after see it listed as new. But for all we know the dealer may have even contacted GM before the car even arrived and explained what they planned on doing and received GM's blessing.

By listing it as new, it gets "new car" warranty. However, I think, knowing what the car has been through, it's already overpriced at $140k. I don't mind the way he drove it - I'd value it at around $125-$130, but no more.
Good luck to whoever buys it.

According to GM the car is still in the dealer's inventory, has not been put into demo service or anything of the sort.
That being said the new car warranty and driving school claim are true.
Side note, this car has the $5000 customer selectable vin option so it's not necessarily the 4th car built, but it could be the first manual.

Sale price = $140,100, and the MSRP tag says $144,680. Call it abused, used, or pseudo new, but I can't see the justification of only taking less than $5000 (or 3.2%) off.
The eBay feedback that's received from this account doesn't help either.

140,100 is not the sale price they want more. They want full MSRP or more.
