ZR1 680whp; 500+ Miles and Legitimate Gains
499 to 500 miles is a great moment for any C7 owner. Does this transition actually make the car perform differently?
The ZR1 is back on the dyno to see.

When do you go back to the track?

Thanks for posting! Can you please post the before/after dyno sheet so that we can see what the A/F did? Would really like to know where the 20 Ft/lbs of torque went! If it's pulling time or running rich it may make more when that gets sorted out.
Have you guys tried logging any of the runs to see what's happening with timing and if any KR is present?

Soon. Many road course days ahead also.
All interesting.
Initial runs: 17* timing, richer AFR, 680hp 664tq
Most recent: 18* timing, leaner AFR, 682hp 649tq
All runs have been SAE, and KR has never been present.
The two back-to-back runs in the vid had torque fluctuate a bit, but never returned to the 660. Needs to be accounted for some where but as a percentage, it is not drastic change. No KR has been seen on the dyno and/or at the track. The ZR1 is consistent in both venues without issue.
The data, hp and logging, do show variance. The very early logs, weeks ago showed 20* and made 670s. Never has 20* returned, track or dyno. However, on lower timing the power is there and again, consistent. We will be reviewing and analyzing everything as more and more time is spent with the ZR1.
Have to keep racking up seat time, log/dyno, and have fun!

Awesome data, thank you....I think I am most amazed that the ECM leans out the mixture with reduced backpressure....in the past it seems that the ECM would richen the mixture, e.g. installation of headers.

Definitely. We'll see what it ends up doing along the way with headers for comparison. Even with some adaptation, this car wants to get back to a richer mix.
