ZR1 at Motor Trends Best Drivers Car Test today at Laguna Seca

This is more than lap times. The trap speed difference between gt2rs and zr1 is 9mph (131 vs 140). That to me feels like one car is in another league (in fact, its probably 2 levels better than the other one) compared to the other one. 9mph beyond 130mph is exponentially much much much faster. I believe 720s even faster in a straight line. That means in day to day, zr1 and the other two wont feel quite the same. Yes all cars are fast, but it almost feels like zr1 is not at the same level, not even close.
And for those of you who missed, there is a zr1 vs 720s race thread going on with a video that backs my statement. Zr1 gets annihilated, no other word.

I responded to you in the other thread. The youtube video posted shows exactly how it feels like.
You know what you sound like? You sound like those guys in high school who try to bully others to stay on top, can't really come up with a factual argument or a proper argument and instead resorts to these bullshit arguments to find a weak spot, something offensive to the person's physical appearance etc. You are trying to invalidate what I am saying by simply focusing on the fact that I dont own 720s or ZR1 or GT2RS, so my opinion doesn't count.
I don't own none of these cars, but I know what 9 mph trap speed difference feels like. I did own lots of high end cars and I know the difference between a 115 mph car and a 125 mph car (fact) and they are completely different cars.
Furthermore, it is YOU people who made whole bunch of empty statements with no backing whatsoever here about ZR1 being this hyped up amazing super car killer that will destroy the segment. All I am pointing out, over and over, is it didnt. Full stop. And I am not simply sharing my opinion. I am simply reinforcing what motor trend or other magazines or youtube videos are publishing. And now you are coming back and saying "oh but thats okay, it is still a very fast car". Of course it is still a very fast car, nobody is denying it. 131 mph in 1/4 mile is insane speed. It's just not AS INSANE AS the other cars and maybe the only subjective part of my argument is $140,000 is not the great deal you all made it out to be.

Honestly now that I think about it. Jan Magnussen ran a 1:32 at Road Atlanta in a c6z on PS2. That's probably very close to the 1:29 turned in the C7z were he on sport cups.

Well because he probably looked up the C6 Z07, since that one came with mpsc and found it to be faster than the 991 gt3 almost everywhere, including the ring.

The C6 Z07 is a little track star that went relatively under the radar but when I was doing my research about getting into tracking cars, it keep popping up and that's why I went with it. No regrets.

Yeah, good point. Randy at LS was about 1.4 faster on a C7Z than a C6 Z07. The Cup 2's are around one second faster than the Cup 1's on a 2 min lap. I'm sure the faster guys can extract a bit more. That put the delta well within day/weather/grip conditions differences.

That's exactly what mine is. Cyber Gray Z06 with 1LZ package. Mine didn't have the CF package though. Just the ZR1 spoiler. I added the LG ZR1 spoiler upfront just for looks.

I believe GM changed the ordering system whatever for the MY2013 where you couldn't order a Z07 without the CF package right? Either way a C6Z wZ07 is a pretty bad *** ride.

Lotta truth there. The extra weight on the nose made it harder to push.
