Do they have a lap comparison too?
are the zr1 test numbers in this issue different than the previous white zr1 with 10.8 at 135 mph etc?

Le Mans Master
Quarter mile in the orange car was 11.1 at 131 and zero to 100 was about equal to a c7z at 6.5. The Porsche was 10.3 at 140 mph.
the article says in the triple digits the aero really slows the zr1 down compared to the Porsche and the zr1 was very heavy at almost 3700 lbs.
car and driver wasn’t very complementary on the a8. They said you could count 1 Mississippi between the shifts and recommended the m7

I dont get why they send the 3zr heavier version which rounded closer to 7300 lbs
in motor trend's test the 3zr low wing was measurably slower in a straight line than the 1zr high wing...
they also said it was 93 degrees but wow the gt2 acceleration was like a 720s.
their making fun of the A8 probably means MT will do the same too....
they also commented that the tires were fairly used when it arrived - hope they at least used fresh ones for the Lightning Lap (which I think they used the same car for)
lots of subjective category points went to the gt2 - exterior styling for example...even though the article said thr gt2 barely got noticed next to the zr1.
Biased fake news media lol

they also wrote very little difference between their ZO6 results vs zri. Comment they made was it stopped 1 foot shorter for $32,210. not a good review . "Marginal gains over the Z06"

on braking yes but they also said it faster in every measure than any other c7 and that its basically the most that can be extracted from this platform

A lot of the things I'm reading make me feel like the worst kept secret in the auto industry is hurting the ZR1. The "this platform is at its limits" comments may be true but it almost feels like they are restraining themselves. Don't want to waste too much hyperbole on this car just to turn around and say the same thing next year when you get your hands on the midengine car.
Also (and again), can we please get some M7 cars out to the press? If the ZR1 is going to get its *** handed to it in acceleration tests anyway, it might as well win the engaging to drive and old school cool arguments!

It has the same or similar 0-60 (as traction is the limiting factor), braking and skidpad results, no surprise there. The latter two are similar to the GS as well. Beyond 0-60 though is a different story.
