Out of context!? ;)
It's 'Smart Pool' leaving the stuff on high speed like that!

Curious about the cones on the track. Are they there to guide the driver when to hit certain marks?
Car is pretty quick.

How did he get to do this? This would be bad a$$ to do!
Looks like they put up the cones to mark the "grove" & to make sure you have to correct "arch" going to the center of the center.

LOL, it never occurred to me to put a ZR1 on a tri-oval. But why not. Actually I'm a little surprised that the ZTK drag wasn't a problem losing time at higher speeds. Next stop Daytona?
Props to the driver.

I mean the ZTK will do 202, which is 7 mph faster than a Z06 with stage 1 aero. The wing adds more downforce, but it also creates less drag compared to the Z06 spoilers. It's really a win-win for people who are going to track the ZR1.

its my favorite track and the cones are for less experienced drivers to run the line and stay away from potential hazards near the wall. 3 turns with different banking (14, 8 and 6 degrees) and different radius makes for three different approaches. I personally would prefer to take the cones down but it is the rules for these events so i am good with it. The car certainly has another second or more in it. That lap was done with stock alignment. Switching to some negative camber for my September run.

- Good reference, I didn't realize that difference vs. the Z06. Thanks.

look up 877stockcar at Pocono. Do a Stock car experience and you can participate in yp to 5 drive your own car events a year. No speed limits and passing allowed. Great track!

Little Bear alignment in Buchanan NY has done tons of Vettes, they have the proper tools to adjust the rear of the C7, they take their time and will adjust to whatever spec you want...had my Z06 done to DSC specs and will get my ZR1 done by them right from the factory as the alignment is almost always off from the get go...less than 2 hrs from you and a great drive back after a fantastic alignment..

to each his own right? You can say the same for Drag Racing where there is less steering input or braking. Half mile events where no driver talent is needed. Road courses are fun and challenging but they tear up my $2000 of tires in a single track day. The Tri-oval at Pocono makes every approach in and out of every turn different as compared to a regular oval. I personally love the speeds on the straights and continued challenge of pushing me and my Zr1 in the turns to achieve better lap times. That is my video but I was not the one who posted it on this site. I chose not to for this exact reason. This forum is full of great people and loaded with Corvette owners who have a true passion and love for this platform. I can tell you that there is no other platform that can do what the Zr1 can do at Pocono. At least not yet witnessed. I have been around that track over 1000 miles in 30 events and have yet to get passed. Even Porsche and McLarens are slowing my lap times up. I digress. My point was that there are also a select few on the forum that love to post their opinions ( negative) on threads they “never understood the interest”. Then read and move on!
