That’s Admiral Blue. It is the same paint as Opulent Blue on the 2012-2013 CTS-V.
This is the color I ordered mine in. I can’t wait. It is a shame that it is discontinued after 8/13.

The blue featured in this thread is not even an option anymore. Anyone have pictures of that "new" blue they came out with? I forgot the silly name they gave it...

In my opinion Admiral Blue was way too dark. Saw a Grand Sport in person with it. Yuk and I am a big fan of blue cars. I suspect the new blue will be too light from the pictures I have seen so far. I wish GM would come out with a blue that is at the halfway point in terms of light/dark.

Here's some Elkhart Lake Blue pics off the chevrolet.com build website. Since I'm a light blue metallic guy, I think the ZR-1 will look awesome in this color. According to Mike Furman, it looks like a clone of my Laguna blue color. I may just have to order one in this color!

No one has any pictures. Doesn't go into production until 10/01. The silly name, like many Corvette colors, is named after a race track course, namely Elkhart Lake WI. Thus Elkhart Lake Blue.

If criticizing and deriding other's choices and preferences isn't politicking for your own personal beliefs, what is? I can't think of a more appropriate use of the words "identity politics." Those who express themselves at the expense of others to find humor in their own statements or reinforce their own insecurity about their feelings lend absolutely nothing to the ownership experience or enthusiasm for Corvettes. That is the purpose of the forum. Trying to make everyone feel they should conform to your way of thinking or your personal beliefs is simply useless banter.

Back to the real purpose of this thread which was to post pics of Blue ZR1's. Just found some new pics of a new Elkhart Lake Blue ZR1 that's for sale.
