C7 of Year Finalist (track prepared) 2019

Default Katech_Jason's Sebring Orange ZR1 ZTK

I just picked up my ZR1 yesterday. I ordered only the essentials.

1ZR
M7
ZTK
PDR
Comp seats
Black calipers
Black wheels

#826 built on 8/1/18. Ordered in February. Switched dealers after they did not get as many allocations as they expected. Official order was accepted by GM in late April. It's been way too long of a wait.

The intention is for this to be my new street car and the Z06 to be more of a track car. We'll use it for Katech package development. I can't wait until the break-in is done so I can compare to the Z06.

Do you plan to weigh it full of fluids for informational purposes?
Just curious how it compares to the other packages and if there is any difference.

I hadn't really thought about it but maybe I'll get it on the scales.

You guys have access to a chassis dyno... It could be broke in by the end of today

Congrats!

Looks great, Jason.

Hopefully you guys will be able to crack the ecm and tune this beast. Nobody else seems to be able to.

Jason,
What are some of the testing and mods you have planned for the car.
I'm picking mine up Monday.

It would be great if you can weigh the car with full tank of gas. You have a pretty base car, as light as one would get in a meaningful track setup. You would be helping out the community

Wow. Looking at the side-by-side pic of the Z06 next to the ZR1, it's amazing how much taller the ZR1's hood is.

Airbox and mufflers.

Once HP Tuners cracks the PCM:
E85
Headers
Pullies

The Z06 ride height is about an inch lower, so that's a factor.

Any "unofficial" estimates what you think it will make after mods (tuned, e85, headers, pullies)?

I'd love to see a four digit number.
