Default No GM response to PDR issues?

i know a number of us have had issues with the PDR’s in the ZR1’s and that GM is aware of the problem.

Has anyone heard anything from a GM on this? Anyone had a fix yet?

My car has been into the dealer to formally put the problem on record... that was almost two months ago... so far no response. The video from the PDR is almost unwatchable... contrast and image quality are truly horrible. No where near as good as the PDR in my 2017 Z06 was.

I’ve also noticed I’m having frequent issues with the PDR not properly setting the start/finish line... giving no gps messages (even though other Corvettes, Camaro, etc are having no issues same day, same spots, same time). When the system does have a marked start/finish it often doesn’t sense it as it completes the lap so time doesn’t reset and lap data for entire session gets ruined. It’s becomig increasingly frustrating.

This new 2019 PDR is a POS. And silence from GM is not encouraging.

Anyone else having these issues or are Poorsha and me the only ones tracking the car so far?

Great, I wonder if this is a 2019 issue or ZR1 issue. Crazy they would go backward.

I have to agree and to me this is the only disappointing aspect of the car. I'm surprised anyone watches the videos I post with as bad as the quality is. I hadn't had any S/F issues until this last weekend. For some reason, the S/F line I had been using successfully for years stopped working and I had to setup a new one. I know it's not the car as I even redownloaded the file from my PC and it still wouldn't trigger. It worked fine a 3 prior events at this track with the ZR1.

Any way an update over wifi from GM caused this? I know we recently received a notice from gm for my daughters 18 Terrain that it was updating automatically to install something for the radio (which is the top of the line with nav).

The PDR in my 15z06 stopped marking the start finish as well. Last weekend at palmer it didn’t work, didn’t even show the track. 2 weeks ago at thompson it showed the track and the run time. It wouldn’t reset for each lap. I loaded Harry’s lap timer on my phone to track lap times. Frustrating

Have them Get someone to escalate the problem. If it worked on his car prior but not now, there is a bigger issue.

We've replaced several cameras on 2016-2018 Corvettes for the greenish colored shadow effect like you posted. I had one car that took 3 cameras to finally get one that looked perfect. Have the dealer contact technical assistance and request to put a camera in it.

If that's the case does anyone have a ZR1 where the video doesn't look horrible?

It looks like my 2015 before the update.
