ZR1 coupe owners missed the boat
Not to ruffle any Feathers but you Coupe Owners Blew it.....The Convertible has it all over the Coupe.( not withstanding style or looks).. There is only only one slight advantage with the coupe and that’s an itsy Bitsy more storage space in the rear....and that’s even a non issue with the use of Corvette luggage...by the way try getting luggage in and out of a coupe with the larger spoiler.
Quieter Inside by a long shot-top up or down—-is the biggest difference....—will not bore you with the rest of the advantages....
By the way the roll bar issue has now even been corrected- with an easy to install and take out roll Bar.
Boring day so need some bashing....

I am done with roadster/ soft top Corvettes (and Camaros for that matter.) Less "style" and aerodynamic efficiency as well as too much cleaning, top maintenance and repairs with less safety in certain types of collisions. Noise? I don't understand your assertion tha t convertibles are quieter. I have always found the Corvette soft top resonates with the exhaust tones creating a serious "drone" at highway speeds with the top up. When the top is down, driving expressways along side tractor- trailers is so loud the truck tires create a sound that can create actual pain and damage a person's hearing. I can remove the targa top on my Z06 or ZR1 and enjoy open air sunlit driving if I so desire. If that is not rewarding enough to satisfy the itch I can always take out the 427 Convertible 60th Anniv,. and cruise with the top down. Oh, I forgot to mention the significant cost premium one must pay as well as the weight penalty of the top mechanism. I'll keep my current preference for the coupe after previously having the opposite feeling for many years. Of course, you are certainly entitled to your opinion and personal preference. At least now we have a choice and that helps make the Corvette the overall greatest performance vehicle that it is.

Nice ride and glad you are happy with the vert. I however went with the coupe and wouldn’t have it any other way. “Best of both worlds” for sure with the removable targa, quieter interior, more cargo space, and I prefer the exterior styling of the coupe over the vert. No issue loading/unloading over the wing as I am 6’1”. Very cool that GM offers both in such an amazing car however the coupe is the only way to go IMO

Let me stir the pot a little more. I love the convertibles shown above but... the black rims are a pita so boring with the beautiful colors of the cars. It's like dressing up in a tux and wearing work boots
