Do you have advise or experience learning how to better drive this incredible car? I’ve seen opportunities on the NCM website, near the museum pick up, that can last hours, to several days, to time in the car with private instructors. Have any of you ever had experience with any of these? I’m strongly considering the two day option.
My car will be 3ZR, torch red, two tone Napa GT Seats, M7, dual tops, performance intake, chrome wheels, and chrome badge package. A big step up from my 2004 C5 M6 Coupe!
What do you think?
The configurator says it should look like this.

You should take on GM's offer of the 2-day driving school at Spring Mountain Motorsport.

Yes, it does. I did a 3-day version there and even my wife enjoyed it! Rick (chief instructor) took her out for a few laps in the C6 ZR1. We stayed in a condo at the facility. Essentially, a country club for car enthusiasts.

Great to affirm that, thanks! I’
I’m planning on driving it back from the museum to the gig harbor, Wa. Can I take the class before I take possession of the car? Seems like that might be a good idea!

You're going to need to wait until you have a VIN to register for the Spring Mountain class and you're probably looking at late Spring at a minimum to get a date. They do have HPDEs (High Performance Driver's Ed) events at the track next to the museum but you will need to get your car properly broken in (1500 miles), and at a minimum the oil changed to 15W50 and the brake fluid changed before you take it to the track. So you're looking at registering for an event closer to home but I don't know too much about which tracks and clubs have events out there.
