How about those of us who don’t care about a DCT ME that is going to be mass produced and at this point slower than a ZR ? 25% off on ZRs isn’t happening anytime soon.

as opposed to the mass produced ZR1? c'mon you know it and I know it, Discounts are around the corner, and the C7ZR1 performance will show up in the C8Z06 for under 85 grand...just like Tadge said when they introduced the C7Z06 for 79k, C6Zr1 performance for less...he even said that was their goals, to bring top level performance of the last production to a less price...I see no reason why they won't do that again!

If you are serious talk with either Mike Furman at Criswell or MacMulkin Chevrolet.

ZR are "mass produced", GM did not say they would limit the production, so until they cut the 2019 production cycle, they will make as many as they possibly can (in contrast of said a GT3 that has a production limitation for example) ...I was being facetious about the "next week" time frame though

I could not agree more. I have a zo6 will drive it until my zr1 gets here and keep it also. I would not buy a 142,000 dollar car at a dealer at $1.00 over MSRP I can wait to get exactly what I want at MSRP not going to compromise on one opt. color or anything else TPW 11/19/18 it will come. There will never be a 25% discount on the zr1 not going to happen. You guys think the ME car is going to be priced similar to the C7 NEVER not going to happen! And who wants one the first year, we all know how that will be. So I will drive my zr1 and zo6 until I see the ME car prove its self a couple years, then maybe I will think about getting one!

That's easy, seeing as I do this for a living! You CAN buy this car for 144,100. And it has make offer. Is that good enough for you?

sure, just like the C6ZR1 was, though it too wasn't a limited run car, nor is this one, simply less of them made because the demand isn't there OR I suspect the time they have left to build it is running out (change over to the C8? who knows, I don't know)....I guess because I work in production is makes sense to me, maybe it doesn't to some of you and that's ok, but I totally see why GM made an estimate of 2000 based on scheduling, and demand...but mostly scheduling...

Read Les Stanford's Disclaimer
Les Stanford advertises all cars at GM Employee discount prices. They have for years. It does not mean the ZR1 is available at that price. First and foremost the ZR1 is not eleible for GMS or Supplier pricing. Disclaimer says car or buyer may not be eligible for advertised pricing. Don't be misled. Do you think if they were selling at that price any of them would be available for sale? If I could buy a ZR1 at GM Employee discount, I am eligible, I would be there in a flash to buy a spare vehicle. "Caveat Emptor."

ZR1's are not limited production cars. Therefore, if orders are placed, GM will build as many as possible. I haven't read where GM has placed a 2k-3k unit limit on ZR1 production. If someone has, please share it. With that said, if I were personally in the market for a ZR1, MSRP would be the most I'd be willing to pay. They are definitely worth the MSRP but I'm not okay with dealer mark-ups.

Do that and then tell me it is not thanks for playing.
Caveat full!
Times have changed I was 100 percent right been that way for a month or two as well.
I'm buying one at employee price or less but it will be another Z06 for the garage. Esp with the 2019 really no advantage worth the money between the Z06 and the ZR1 beyond I suppose placebo effects but for me cars that share 90 percent the same DNA.
That I care about besides the 105 hp difference . An extra 150 plus is easy available which adds weight reduction with along with being the lighter car to start. Make it my favorite Corvette!

Just went to my local dealer in Delray Beach FL and they asked for $20K over a loaded $145K ZR1. Dealer changed owners a while ago. Purchased two C7's from the previous dealer. Now own a loaded Z06. Any recommendations for a dealer in South Fla. I was willing to pay $5K over.

Talk to Tom Carlton at Autonation Greenacres. He has treated me well on 2 vettes. A Z51 and Z06 not ZR1 so I don't know exactly what they can do but I don't think they are asking over MSRP

Kai Spande actually said that in an interview that there would be less than 2k produced for MY 2019. This was the infamous interview where he predicted the car starting at $150k

There building 40 a month don't think that is mass produced, however if they could get the CF they would be building a lot more a month than that!!!!!!!!Until March 2019 they may build a few more until the new cars come out in August that's all I got to say about thatLOL
