Would love to see what a ported blower, TB, headers, pully LT5 can do in the car now that tuning is available.

That's exciting. I've used Kong before for porting and see they now offer it too. Both companies use a cnc program. I'm not familiar enough with that process but would one typically be comparable to the other? I like the offer of the larger throttle body. Do you know how soon that will be released? Will there be a package price? Will tuning be required before the car can even run with the porting and larger throttle body? I realize tuning will be needed but trying to figure out if the car can be driven to the tuner or if it would have to be towed.

We're probably looking at about 4-5 weeks on the 112mm throttle body. Pricing has yet to be set, but we'll probably try to price it as low as we can individually rather than making a package price.

Honestly I don't know how the car would react to the 112 without tuning. We don't have any plans to test that without tuning.

The LT4 is a TVS1740. The LT5 is a TVS2650 with a much larger intercooler package and secondary port injection.

Check out our ZL1 packages here:
https://store.katechengines.com/zl1-c123.aspx

Many of the products found in those packages are available separately in our online store also.

Jason, how much material is removed in you port job? Is the GM casting bad / have any design flaws? I know porters never give away their trade secrets but could you maybe give us some details on the areas you have worked on with this porting program? Was any fluid dynamics software used as well?

The LT5 is a lot different than the LT4, mainly because it does not have a removable snout. I would say the casting is better. Beyond that I won't get too much into the porting details at this time. Maybe more later. No, CFD was not used.
