Default ZR1 radiator different?

Is the zr1 main radiator different from the rest of the lineup?

No one have anything? Poor-sha? Can anyone take a picture of their ZR1 radiator in reference to the body to show a thickness? or maybe a measurement from the face of the fan to a body part or engine part to see if it's any closer to the engine (would signify thickness radiator).

I have a few people that have told me that a known local shop has installed "zr1 radiator" into their z06 but I haven't been able to find anything about it.

Not yet. I've checked the ACDelco website and they only call-out 1 part #.

Not only the same for C7 Z06 and ZR1, but also the Z51 and grand Sport with manual transmission use the same one.

I'm going to bring this back up. Did the radiators change from 2015,16,17,18,19? Any model?

Nope, Every manual transmission Z51, GS, Z06 and ZR1 from 2014-2019 is the same part number.

My friend had his "radiator upgraded to OEM 2018" on his 2017 Z06 A8. That's why I ask.

They do list a different part number from 2017 to 2018+ on the A8 Z06. Not sure what they "upgraded" but it is a different part number if that makes him sleep better at night.

Yo, Richie....

Ah, since my ZR-1 is an automatic with one of these "upgraded" radiators, will I sleep better at night and, if so, will I sleep any better than I do after going out for dinner and drinking a couple of pints of good craft beer?

If so, maybe I'll give up beer and buy an extra radiator.

According to the installer it is thicker 2017 to 2018 and again 2018 to 2019.
