Is March the end of the C7 ZR1?

They will definitely make a 2020 C7 ZR1 and possibly a 2021. Though I agree, the C8 will absolutely be a base model year one.
They only made 4,600 C6 ZR1's and that was across 5 years... so I'd figure we'll see closer to 3,000 C7 ZR1's.by the time they stop production.
Best Regards,
Dave

It's all one line due to newer technology. GM builds four different cars on the same line at their Hamtramck plant. Other manufacturers do it too. Bowling Green can handle two cars. There's some very credible rumors that they're already building a small number of pre-production ME cars on the existing C7 line during special plant shutdown days.

When the General makes an official announcement , Which by the way intel changes by the second. Some of us are not interested in a ME DC car. Perfectly happy with my M7 Beast. The initial ME will be slower. Carry on the speculation

Haven't seen an attractive ME rendering yet. Makes it so easy for me mentally to be all in with the Z.

If you end up liking the ME, the worst thing that can happen you buy a C8 to keep the ZR1 company.

Did some business man math on the ZR1. At current rate bringing $1.5M per working day. Please let me know if they stop in March so I can take it over..

As I watch all the 'insiders' predictions the pendulum has swung past the March 31 deadline again!

C7 zr1
Just read Chevy is NOT debuting the C8 ME in the Detroit Auto Show. Talk is maybe debuting it in the summer. If that is in fact the case, it would look like they will keep producing the C7. Whether or not that translates to the ZR1, is still anyone's guess.

I agree. I could see a change in product strategy based on this development.

Personally, I would love to see the C7 line and, more importantly, the C7 ZR1 keep being produced for at least another model year. However, with GM closing plants and deciding not to make cars anymore, I find that possibility diminishing. Insofar as the C8 ME goes, I'm not going to be someone who purchases one. Certainly, I hope it is successful (and I have no doubts it will), there's just something about the front engine Corvette that screams sexy.

I just saw on the Cadillac web site that the twin turbo (called Blackwing v8)for the new CT6-V is being hand built in 'Bowling Green' so I presume they will have some cross usage of engines and platforms now with the new ME perhaps. Link below.

Interestingly, we still don't have a definite answer. It is now mid January, no NAIAS reveal of the C8, an interior leak (that could be a FE or ME car), VIN number 1,603 (as of last week), DCT 7-speed all but confirmed for C8.
My heart says no, but my brain tells me otherwise. The ZR1 will still be built in April.
