-Alright, thanks for clarifying. I'll hold off until you get the Stage 2 ready. I hope that the visual changes to the cowl will be tasteful and understated. The CG looks pretty good so far, so I'm optimistic.

Ben, will you guys also market through GM performance so the warranty will remain intact?

Yes the lid is not going to be anything drastic. The top is raised X amount, blended with the sides, and we're actually using the C7 Stingray hood vent on it, so it is still OEM looking!

Unfortunately, I doubt that will happen, but all of these mods are reversible and do not require tuning, so you should be OK.

Update:
Starting to make some progress on a few things!

Vented cowl features slightly taller lid for our lid spacer which just continues to show phenomenal cooling capabilities:

Outstanding read and analysis Ben. Thank you for providing these solutions instead of settling on "that's good enough".

Vented cowl is to be slightly higher than the OEM cowl? OEM cowl is already too tall. Disappointing, i had interest in this part.

Ben, are there composites available with enough structural rigidity to form the supercharger housing?

Ben, could it be ran without the cowl at all. Just have the exposed blower lid, so nothing over it holding any heat?

Default This is disapointing.....

It's disappointing to hear that this bad boy C7 ZR1 is having heat issues. One would have thought GM would have had this worked out a long time ago. I LOVE this car and plan to own one sooner than later. As I won't track mine that often I guess its nothing to be that concerned about (and I would probably get mine with the Manual Tranny anyways).

For what its worth my ZR1 oil temp runs around 200 -210 most of the time in same driving + ambient temp conditions that my wet sump C6 Callaway SC606 GS convert is running 220-230.

While the tech world is exploding daily, I am not sure on this one simply because of the heat underneath and the rotor pack contained within... maybe, but I'm sure it would be insanely expensive

Yes, but I would think this would slow the car down more than anything. I made 2 passes like this, but was in the process of tuning my trans and bounced off the rev limiter both times LOL. My trans tune is wicked now though, and I need to get it listed, but offer you guys VIN written, preprogrammed TCMs you can swap in and keep your old PCM on the shelf like I did!

It doesn't have heat issues like the Z06s overheating; however, anything can be improved upon and my lid spacer has shown just incredible temp drops.
