There is a joke here but.
Honestly I have nothing against Dodges or vehicles of the big 3': I buy in support of America

The faster versions usually aren't in the first model year.

There is a "used" ZR1 in Houston with 800 miles at McLaren Houston for 129k.
https://www.mclarenhouston.com/inven...y42d92k5800213
There is a new ZR1 in Whitesboro, TX advertised at 129k from a 145k sticker.
https://www.holidaychevy.net/Vehicle...-TX/3295745723
While neither are 120k... my guess is with a solid, legit offer they could be, or at least a few more off of what they are advertised at.

I m pretty sure the base C8 will perform somewhere between z06 and zr1 considering it will have DCT, engine at the back, and possibly rear wheel steering. It will be leaps and bounds better than the c7 platform. I will never buy a c8 because i want manual so for me thats great because it will bring the zr1 prices down.

I could see a 120K ZR1 surfacing IF it's being made past March 2019. The current base model does start at $121K and that includes a nice profit for the dealer.

Exactly, however no matter how many times you tell people these are "fake" adds..................... Somehow these car sites generate vehicles from deliveries to dealerships and post them as for sale, some go as far as to use "fake discounts" . The listed cars are pre-sold and never discounted. The listed cars that are avail are the ones you see 20K plus over MSRP. Demon is a nice straight line beast , but no ZR1.

Maybe that totalled one that was at a copart a while back lol
go back to every single time the Corvette was introducing the next best. Then multiply that by limited availability like hasn't happened before =everyone overpaying for them. It's all relative... if you have it? It doesnt matter.. where it gets fun is maybe 2 or 3 years from now if they keep making them and those that paid a premium start complaining (then you learn who really had $$$$ and those that overreached).. and boy do they complain lol.
as for performance? I doubt they could make the C8 for 6X,XXX turn lap times or acceleration times of the C7Z or ZR.
but look back to the introduction of the C4 C5 and C6... the incoming models were better than the best before or damn near close to it.
having said that I still think it will be like the C6 to C7 leap.
Base = better but not as good as last Z06.
C8 Z06 equivalent = as good and better in most categories than previous ZR
and God only knows what the new ZR will turn...
it will probably be faster than the 918 which for some reason keeps popping up for comparison to a Zora Corvette variant..
