There will be those unexpected moments on track that has nothing to do with car capabilities or driver talent. I have been agricultural because of mud in a turn, a friend totaled a vehicle because a Porsche spewed antifreeze all over a fast turn on the other side of the hill at Road Atlanta, another friend T-boned a vehicle in a race because the driver allowed the car to roll back onto the track after an off. Stuff happens. It ain't pretty but that is the nature of the sport. There are many other instances but these give a general idea.

Here's a little background info on this 'Infamous' C7 ZR1. This particular Sebring Orange C7 ZR1 was one of two ZR1's that were sent from GM to Mexico for Press/Media events. The crash/accident at issue occurred at a Track Day event in Puebla City, Mexico. As of this writing, no videos of the crash have been posted. But I'll keep looking.....

ZR1 Crashes in Mexico
A 2019 Corvette ZR1 was at a track event in Mexico when it crashed during the session. A spanish-language youtuber was there and talks about the event and shares a quick video showing the impact, as well as multiple photos following the crash.

If I was a ins.broker I'd charge less for the twice a month tracker than the d.d. in the N.Y.,N.J. area.
