Default Can the rear wing be removed without trunk damage?

Am curious if removing the rear wing on the ZR1 will leave mounting holes in the trunk. Presume yes? Is is drilled to otherwise also fit a factory Vette logo?

The stanchions mount to plates (for lack of a better word) on the top surface of the rear bumper clip. They come right off; 4 screws each I think. But you'll still have the visible mounting plates there on top of the bumper; nearly but not totally flush with the car.

Some of the earliest deliveries of the ZR1 photos here on the forum show pictures of the car before the stanchions are mounted, as that's how it's sent to the dealers. Hunt around; you should be able to find them.

it will be fine as long as you don't remove it with a 12 pound sledge

You could stick a couple of bobble-heads on the wing mounts to cover them up.

The small wing is not too bad.
