Default USB media in 2019 ZR1

Been trying to get my music library on USB to play in my 19 ZR1. It doesn't seem to recognize that it's attached. Does it take time to read the drive? Are there size limitations? Any other considerations?

I believe I did format it. It's over 24 GB of music. Wondered if it took a long time to index that much music or if it just can't read it.

I have 9 gig on mine and it reads it pretty fast when I have it set to play it on startup , I get the no media found first , then it must sense the stick and it starts to play . My itouch does the same thing on startup and I have 32 gig on it

maybe buy a cheap 4 gig. Format it , when formatting you must switch to fat 32 if I are using windows 7 or 10 and then just put a few songs on it to see if it recognizes the stick

I may have found the problem. Windows 10 doesn't allow formatting to FAT32 with a drive larger than 32GB, only exFAT format. Formatting into FAT32 by command line prompt. We'll see if this works.
