I've been trying to find this out as well. No one gets back to me, so I'm guessing not.

Why lease a car when you can sell as many of them as they can build?

why sell a car once when you can lease it, make money off depreciation/interest, then sell it again?

I'll wait.

Leasing a 755 hp ZR1 is not a business venture I'd want to be involved in.

It would most likely be a horrible lease. Ultra low milage, literally not a scuff at return, tire responsibility to owner, couldn't run at a track. I never seen a lease on anything other than a Z51 or I think a GS. And just like when I owned an AMG, I inquired on it and the lease payment was nuts and the amount they wanted down, buy was the only choice.

Being a small business owner sometimes leasing is a perk that you might want. Even if I did lease, I would plan on buying the car at the end of the term. I guess it depends on what state you are in ect…… I leased a 1992 Suburban many years ago and put way more miles than the lease called for, but they knew I wanted to buy it. The hi miles actually helped lower the price. And GM didn't want it back with all those miles and they even offered me a much lower rate. I still own the car. It has a little over 500K miles on it now. I put a crate motor in it at 400K.

AMG's are notorious for poor leases. I've owned them, never leased. Last car was an m5 stickered at over 120. Dealers down here were wanting over 1400 a month. No thank you, purchased from Cali, for 1200 a month even. You just have to do your homework. Hell, when i was looking for my z06, some of the advertising dealers on here were giving me garbage numbers. Matick in Detroit came thru with a phenomenal price, and i took the lease from them.

Because it's a guess. Sure it's an educated guess but still a guess. Sometimes they win, other times they lose. The risk is worth it if the cars are sitting there on the lot and you have to move them... There is no reason to take the risk if you are guaranteed profit today with zero risk tomorrow though.

My guess is IF there was a lease it would not be incentivised at all. As a business owner depending on what you do, this could be pre tax dollars or business expense making the lease more worth while. The only benefit a lease of a non business owner that I can see is if you lease no money down and say you get in a wreck and the vehicle tanks in value it won't be your problem.
