Default Who daily drives their ZR1?

Depending on how things shake out with the C8, I might try and get a ZR1. Who daily drives their ZR1? Haven’t seen any on the road in Seattle yet, saw one at Evergreen Chevy but apparently it was sold to someone on the east coast.

Drive it everyday to work and back home with a huge smile. Great car that is meant to be driven. Have the low wing, in silver. Get lots of looks. 3K miles on it so far.

I plan to daily drive mine, but I travel a lot and avoid driving it in the rain. IMO, in Seattle, you’d at least need different tires to daily it. Just has too much power for wet surfaces.

You may want to clarify if you're asking "daily drive" as in use it regularly and commute or if you're asking if it's the "only car."

I just drove through a week of borderline torrential rains with no problems. To borrow from a couple of other active threads, "throttle modulation" is key! And by all means, don't stomp on it in 2nd or 3rd gear heading onto a toll road.

I do as well till it gets too cold, but almost 4K miles on it in <7 months. Shocking for me since my 2014 C7 427 nitrous car had only 10K miles on it when I sold it earlier this year.

Still having the 16’ Zo6 on tap I thought I’d be selective with the ZR1 however managed to get 2400 on her 3 months time lol.
