When the C6 ZR1 was released, GM offered their free schools there and at Spring Mountain Motorsport. Most people chose Spring Mountain (including me, just by chance). I noticed the C7 schools were not advertised (offered?) by Bondurant. Sad news.

Yes, I chose Ron's place too when I got my '12 ZR1. I really never liked Bondurant's, just not as nice a location. I guess there will be no choice when I get my '19 ZR1.

Sad to see this....

I attended Spring Mountain and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm just sorry to see any business in our industry file for bankruptcy.

Sad to see this. I went to Bondurant 4-day back in 2012. I thought it was a great program.

I agree, I did the 4 day course with the Corvette Grand Sports for 3 days and the open wheel Mazda track car in 2011....god that as fun.

Sorry to see them have to close the school....Mr Bondurant was very much a gentleman and a class act when I met him. Hopefully somebody will step in and take over the raceway and start a new school.

Those of us in Phoenix are watching this closely. We have a NASA event this weekend on the Bondurant school track that is a go. There are 4 tracks at Wild Horse Pass, and Bondurant controls more than one of them. We also run ProAutoSports AZ events there. As an aside, they just broke ground on a new track at Maricopa - near the intersection of Interstate 10 between Phoenix and Tucson and Interstate 8 from San Diego - called "Apex". Looks like a good layout.

Silver ACR. I will be there on Sunday - still in CA until late Saturday. And yes, they broke ground at Apex a little over a week ago - fellow racer (AZ Viper) sent me a short video of the heavy equipment starting work. And you are right, it will still be a year or so before they have anything open. If you look at their website you will see they have pretty ambitious plans - hope it works out. In the meantime I have been spending more time at Inde - cleaner and less loose gravel on track and in the paddock than any of the WHP tracks.
