Evidence right now is simply the Cup 2's! ;)
Hopefully, that ILE kit for the ZR1's coming at least aftermarket! 6.59! There were those post production mules out there, but, Barra!?

No ZR1 did a 6:59 or even close while mules were testing.

If we say the said cars originally were close at The Ring, which, it appears they were, then the transmissions being a constant would be irrelevant.
Of course I've looked at a ZL1 1LE SUSPENSION upgrade type kit as likely being key in accomplishing this months ago. Similarly!

What is most entertaining is watching guys haggle over a few seconds on some track where it takes 7 minutes or more to go around once. The internet racing champions think they can feel a difference of less than one percent, flatly laughable. My blah, blah, $375,000 Porsche does the Ring 3 or 4 seconds faster than your POS Corvette in a seven minute race, yeah, OK.
