Do you need to prep your Vette in any way to be able to go on that track at Pahrump?

Do some people rent/hire a track car?

What kind of money are you talking if you stay there overnight with the trackday package?

PS, Deb, are you passing through NW AR on your way.....................???

Spring Mountain furnishes the cars, you don't drive your personal car...….

Cost if you have a Stingray, Z51, GS, or Z06 is $1,000, GM picks up the rest. If you have a new ZR1 the 2 day class is free, great deal.
If you go there on your own dime, I believe the cost is around $ 3,500 - 4,000
You have 1 year to book your session at Spring Mountain after you buy your new Corvette to have GM pick up their portion.

I have been a track rat since 2014, over 40 multi day track events, and I still learn plenty at Spring Mountain classes, they have great instructors.

I’ll be there. Can’t wait to learn more on someone else’s tires. Three track days and two sets of Cup 2s gone already with just over 2000 miles on the beast. Going to be fun.

What tires did you run in the colder temps?

I was there earlier this month, and it dropped well into the 30s with a cold wind. We ran both stock tires (one set each day) so that you can feel both. They take the cars out to warm them and the tires up before you get in, but you still need to be careful your first lap and until they get up to temp. The 03 white car was mine when I was there. I wanna go back!!!

I only drove on the super sports when I was there. Took a few laps to get them warm with temps in the low 40's. Did see a few cars go off the track during warm-up laps due to some driver mistakes.

Yeah, it's high desert. Cold in the winter, hot in the summer. That wind is the one constant!

Great time. Definitely learned a lot this afternoon being able to push the cars more today.

Met some good people too.

I had the Yellow 06 yesterday and the Yellow 10 today,
