Where is my 2019 ZR1?

Where is my 2019 ZR1?
I ordered a 2019 ZR1 on January 31st, 2018 in Watkins Glen Gray. I found out in May 2018 that the color was discontinued, so I changed it to black. No one has a clue either at GM HQ or the dealership when it will go into production. How is this possible? How could a major corporation have no product pipeline connection to the wealth creation units on the front lines with customers? GM must be in the "bad will" creation business. How much does Mary Barra get paid a year?

That sounds like pure dealership. Oh, about $22MM/year. I'll bet one of the online dealers will pipe up.

I would hazard a guess your dealership sales staff are a bunch of smucks.

EDIT: Folks spend years on this forum, learning about these cars, and asking questions before placing an order with a dealer they have researched on the forum. Just my $.02, but before you drop $120k+ on a new car, do your due diligence, and learn about the car and whom you are buying from before pulling the trigger...and then don't sit stewing in your juices for 7-8 months waiting by the phone before coming on here to slam GM. GM has their issues, but it sounds like you own some of how this went down.

Please supply your Dealership name and order number and I’ll see what can be found.
Are you taking the correct people at the General. Different departments deal with different things. It falls on your Dealership to provide when the allocation goes in.

Hello Deb - thanks for the information. I understand from them that they had three allocations. One has been delivered, the second has not been delivered but I was not sure from what they told me whether the second allocation had even been picked up. I have the third allocation. Any other information you find out will be much appreciated.
Thanks, Brian
Thanks, Brian

Keep checking at Chevrolet.com chat. Give them your order number they can keep you updated. Sounds like Deb has found your dealer's allocation now it's just a matter of time till it is matched with the order I believe you will get your car. It might be another month or two good luck!!
