Default My ZR1 set sail today

It has been a long wait. Ordered early in 2018. Production date was 11/21 and it was ready for delivery on 12/5. Due to schedules and travel I didn’t get to see it until 12/28. It was a museum delivery kind of. My wife and I am my two girls flew from Hawaii to Los Angeles to and then to Nashville. We then drove to the National Corvette Museum. We saw the car and drove it and then left it at the museum. The car then got picked up by Plycar and in an enclosed trailer and traveled to the port in San Deigo. The boat set sail today 😊. I paid extra money so that my car was not driven at the port. The Plycar transport driver drove the car on a metal plate and a machine/fortlift put it on the boat last. It will come off first. I am planning on picking up new ZR1 on February 1st on the Big Island of Hawaii. It’s been a long journey!

After following your "adventure" on the forum, that's the best news I've heard today. Congratulations and welcome to the family !!!! Wow - a ZR on the big Island with miles of roads just made for it. Like the rest of your ZR owners forum family, I look forward to seeing the pictures of the car in it's new "back yard".
