Default Finally! Mine goes to 2000

I heard from my dealer, Abel Chevrolet in Rio Vista CA, that my order is now at 2000. That is, GM has confirmed that the order has been accepted. Thanks to "RichieRichZO6" for helping me make the order.

Now I get to wait for a TPW and a VIN.

I've ordered it 1ZR GC6 192 AE4 J6E M5U Q9J R8C RXH VRS ZTK

Dealer told me it should be TPW in March...

Road Trip!

Congrats, you should have a TPW in a few days. I believe it was 11 weeks from the time mine went from 2000 to being built, hang in there it is defiantly worth the wait!!

No plans to repaint. In fact, my choice of color was totally intentional.
1) The Corvette Racing Yellow is the rarest of colors for C7 ZR-1s.
2) It's a sort of "tribute" to a project car I built for Vette Magazine back in the 90s which, a '71 Big-Block coupe which was yellow with black trim. In fact, we are finally going to sell that car and replace it with this ZR-1

Here's an old image of (soon-to-be-sold) "Yellow Thunder" and another of "YT2," just for comparison

Funny you say that because, actually, we're picking it up at the NCM, probably sometime in March, so it will start out there. Not planning to make the Gathering this year as I was saving a Gathering trip for next year, the 30th Anniversary of the C4 ZR-1 and the Record Run.

If we end up getting the car at the end of March, on the way back to California we might just stop at Breitung's S. Texas BBQ.

Rich is a great guy. He and his wife run with us in the Optima Series. He has helped me several times with questions about my Z06.

According to numbers provided by the Corvette Action Center's ZR1 registry the rarest colors are Blade Silver, Long Beach Red, and Admiral Blue. Admiral Blue may remain that way since it's been discontinued. The two new colors don't count since they will not doubt increase in numbers. Either way I'm sure you couldn't care less..lol You have a ZR1 on the way. Congrats bud!
