That was a score for you! Congrats. They're actually very reasonable. I stayed 2 nights, and while I don't remember the exact amount, it was well under $200 a night, as I recall.

That is very reasonable. I would have guessed well north of 3 bills. So my advice to anyone who’s going there, free or pay 2nd night.. stay there... breakfast starts at 6:45... registration 7:30... classes start 7:45..

I wanted to add one more thought. After coming away from the ZR1 school my interest in the mid engine car fell by 95% (from a performance standpoint).. the limits of the C7 ZR1 approach insanity. Just my opinion of course.

Most are manuals. They have very few autos.

Was in this group.Great instructors ,super nice facility ,Scared to death fist day and a half, but got comfortable last half day. Never been on track before but the instructors let you go at your pace, pushing a little along the way .Super nice classmates. I rate at 10++++ . Gordon

The gal from Spring Mountain even tracked me down when she saw my car (it was one of two C7 ZR1’s) in Corvette Corral that race weekend to tell me I should sign up there. So I dont know if it was a one time offer or something that is a recurring offer. Its worth checking out IMO... I never asked but Im guessing those condo nightly rates arent cheap.
i also received the second night free. They told me ‘it was because I booked during the winter.’ I’ve heard others say they got the second night because they booked during the summer. I’m guessing it’s based on availability and the sales rep you talk to and when.

My class had nine owners attending. Five wanted manuals and four preferred automatics. But, as you say, automatics may be limited.

My wife and I both took the Z06 class a few years ago, ended up buying 2 Z06's in 1 year, but that's a story for another time. The RF school is run very well. If you ever go once go ahead and plan on either going again and/or going to other schools or HPDE days somewhere. It's a 1 hit hook. I couldn't believe how my wife took to it. She is a track rat now for sure. We run in the Optima Batteries Search for the Ultimate Street Car and this kind of instruction lends well to that.

Bonus=you will meet some really cool folks in these circles. Don't let the opportunity pass you by.
