Titanium bumper/splitter 'buttons'
OK so my memory is shot . . .
There was a vendor who offered titanium 'buttons' to attach to the underside of the splitter as a sacrificial rub to protect the splittlers
anyone able to help? Please, we have a lot of rolled curbs around here . . . ouch!!!!
thanks, Cliff

Hi All +Old Foggy!
Look at the ZL1 set: better than nothing.
This would work better, but no C7 ZR1 fitment avail yet: https://scrapearmor.com
You can leave request on their site: the more they get, the more likely they'll go into production...
Post photos if you put them on!

I am trading for a ZR1 from my ZO6.
I planned on putting the splitter guards on the new vehicle. They are not available at present, so I am in the process of removing them from the
ZO6. After four years on the ZO6, there is a fair amount of rust on the screws and the guard washers themselves. I live in west Texas where it is really dry. In my opinion, these screws need to be upgraded for something that will not rust, and the guard washers should be sprayed with paint like Rustoleum. The rust problem will likely be more significant for our friends in places like Florida.

The washers probably need to be painted with Rustoleum. The screws need to be upgraded to stainless. They are #8 by 5/8 inch.
The rust will be a more major problem for our forum friends in wet climates.

Make sure you guys contact scrapearmor.com if you are interested in their product for the ZR1. They indicated that they would make this for us if there is enough interest. There is a form you can fill out on their website to indicate you have interest in this device for our cars.
