#1568 finally home
After 14 months, and having to wait until the snow melted to my place, #1568, CMGM, A8, 3ZR, Spice Red interior, is finally home. I posed her next to Carly, my beloved '12 ZR1 that was traded in for a family shot.....

C6 ZR1 and C7 ZR1. I like your thinking.

Anxious to hear your observations comparing the C6 ZR1 to the C7 ZR1.

Thanks all! Based on the 50 or so miles I have driven it, on the way home, this one seems bigger and heavier than the C6 ZR1. Since it is in the break-in period I have not been able to determine power comparisons yet. The hood bulge is very prominent compared to the '12 ZR1, and takes some getting used to. The cockpit also seems a bit more cramped, could be because of all the bells and whistles the '12 ZR1 doesn't have assaulting your senses........

.
I have C6 GS Callaway 1LT convert (no Nav, no pdr, no heads up) and C7 ZR1 ZTK 3LZ coupe w/Comp seats and all the space age accutriments. The C6 is a much more relaxed interior. Easier entry/ exit even without moving the seats in the C6 vs the C7 even with its easy entry system.....the wrap around driver compartment is more confining on the C7.. these different characteristics each have their advantages. The C7 definitely is the better track setup or even for holding you in place during spirited driving on the street. I like the simple C6 interior the convert has especially with the top down when “hanging loose” feels good while just cruis’n. Haha.
