Let’s look what happened when the cars were tested for their intended purpose by a 3rd party impartial entity. OMG .. the Ford GT loses to the ZR1 despite costing 3x as much. Tsk tsk tsk

-constantly use the paddles instead of putting it back into drive on roll races after starting manual mode in the right gear

-Never use launch control CORRECTLY

-and love decals stickers and do dad's lol.

Embarrassing. And it's ALL on the driver here (just like at the drag strip video)

I have a few questions for the ZR1;

What mode did he use?
Was launch control used?
Was it manually shifted or left in auto?
What mods are on the ZR1?
What tires are on the rear?

You got to give credit to the Ford GT for being dialed in.

He consistently runs 130-133 traps in his GT. Im not sure how its pulling ZR1s all day like that but he sure loves to beat them. Doesn't somebody on here that knows what they are doing live near him?

Amazing what a loss brings out in people. Demon owners (probably all Hellcat owners) hate Brooks too - since his 720S slapped 'Demonology' 3 times!!

He posts often on the Ford GT forum. I believe he lives in South Florida area. He pretty much smokes everyone he has challenged. His GT is well dialed in and he knows how to get the most out of it in straight line races. He also runs a 720 Mclaren which is a wickedly fast car. He is really good at using the launch control, plus the GT is a great drivers car. An experienced driver in a dialed in ZR1 would give him a challenge. The devil is always in the details.

I hope the C8 will have better mechanical grip than the C7s. They just can't get the power down like the 720S, GT or other supercars. The ZR1 clearly got destroyed. If there wouldn't be such a lag when you push the pedal he would have not hit the rev limiter. I wish it would be programmed that in manual mode if you hit the limiter that it will still shift up automatically.

. You are kidding about “he doesn’t look for any approval”.. right? For starters he is the producer, director, screenplay writer, casting director, lead actor (sole actor often) editor and distributor of this vid. It’s “ALL ABOUT HIM”.. AND... He has a thing against Corvettes. Nobody else pick up on that. I’m betting there are lots of ZR1’s out there that would make a good showing in a 1/2 mile race with the wing on and who knows with it off. Not get humiliated as our “friend” was happy to “air”.. but beyond that he is still pissed that his 1/2 mil babies got spanked at VIR in the lightning lap on a road course. These are sports cars. That is their domain. Not dragsters. This video is all about “Revenge”. Give him his 15 min of glory.
