Two Kings: ZR1's invade DSC Sport
They say there can only be one King of the hill, but not in this case...
We had two C7 Corvette ZR1's at DSC Sport at the same time that brought us to our knees as we praised their glory.
With both ZR1's suspension powered by DSC Sport, these beasts were tamed by the DSC Sport V4 controller that is simply Plug-N-Play right out of the box to lay down the power, achieve superior grip, and maintain chassis stability as you lay into WOT whether you are auto crossing, road racing, or racing with the DSC Sport V4 controller.
For Track goers, putting the power down at WOT is paramount and this can easily be achieved by installing the DSC Sport V4 controller on your C7. (We also recommend the DSC Sport alignment specs, available from the DSC Sport website)
Our Black ZR1 development vehicle has the latest DSC Sport V4 controller accompanied by our DSC Sport track-spec alignment to lay the power down noticeably better than in stock form. Without the DSC Sport controller, it is like trying to tame a wild tiger in the jungle with its incredible high hp powertrain under WOT. The DSC Sport V4 controller is an exceptional improvement at a great value.
The owner of the Red ZR1 is no stranger to the track as you may tell from the appearance of his racing machine. He is looking to be the King of the hill for his time trial competition approaching soon and what better than to complete his suspension setup with the upgrade to Tractive RTX dampers to work in conjunction with his DSC Sport V4 controller.
Note to mention, the Red ZR1 first went with the incremental upgrade of the DSC Sport V4 controller and DSC Sport track-spec alignment, within a short amount of time he was hooked and was ready for more! Having the DSC Sport V4 controller and the OEM MRC shocks with limited performance range, the next logical step was to upgrade to the Tractive RTX dampers for the full suspension package.
Even though our development Black ZR1 is incredibly better with DSC Sport than it was as stock form, the Red ZR1 is a whole new level of GRIP with the full suspension package! WOT = No problem for the Red ZR1 and the owner couldn't be any more pleased with the results and is ready to stun the time trial competition.
Videos and feedback are to follow from the first track outing of the season in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned and subscribe as the King fights its way to the top of the competition with DSC Sport!

Bow to the King: New lap record set at Barber Motorsports Park!
Ride along with Mike Skeen at Barber Motorsports Park in the DSC Sport prepared ZR1 Corvette. With the proper alignment, setup dialed, and a slight revision on the DSC Sport mapping, this ZR1 put down the power with absolutely no drama. The ride height is stock and all components on the chassis and driveline is completely stock(besides the RTx shocks). The car has no engine modifications and was on Michelin Cup2 tires that were at the end of their life.
We have been told that this is a lap record at Barber for a street car with no engine modifications and the tires that it came with off of the showroom floor!

I timed a couple of Mikes laps (as best as I could) from the vid and came up with sub 1:35 times. I didn’t see the official record time posted unless I missed it. Just for comparison, Roman DeAngelis OVERALL winner of Sunday’s IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup race driving the #79 Kelly-Moss car fastest race lap was sub 1:28.. btw.. a friend of mine (non pro) from my UP hometown was in that race and had a fast lap of sub 1:32..
