Enjoy the car, enjoy the anticipation of the C8. Nothing is certain in Life.

starting to believe me yet?

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...54556-wow.html

This will be the c7, not the c8. At minimum you still have the zr1 in its current configuration being sold. More than likely, it is going to have final edition colors.

And then for the million dollar question... does GM use this engine for a later released c7 z and zr1... and will it still have a blower on top, squeezed between the heads, or will they go to turbos

no deb... i have been saying on this forum for quite sometime that i believe the 2020 c7 will have a special motor and trans... and that is what the thread is actually about... but the people in the thread think it is about the c8.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...556-wow-4.html

... including you apparently.... even after the post here above where I clearly state it will be a c7 and not a c8... which you then go on to quote.

nothing gets past you

I no longer have a dog in this fight, but even when I did I only wagered my 2 cents.

Well, I hope you're right and that the Canadian dealer I'm with gets my allocation before C7 ZR1 production closes.
Unfortunately, very limited allocations in Canada.
I've been on two separate dealer lists since November 2016; the first could be referenced as "snake oil sales".

Still hopin'...

c7's aren't going any where for a while. I would go so far as to ask if there is not another designation created that makes the zr1's the second place car

. It was a two edged sword: GM underpriced the ZR1 in Canada based on going $C/$US exchanged rates; then didn't send many of them there.

Agreed on the Canadian pricing exchange advantage.
And my observation is that it’s not limited to ZR1’s; other GM product lines, and other manufacturers are more attractively priced in Canadian dollars when accounting for US - CAN exchange.

I just put in an order for a ZR1 and it is status 2000.

Dealer is saying mid May production and it will be a 2019.

We will see,
D.

Congrats! Interesting that it’s still a ‘19. How’d you configure it?

So maybe after the ‘17-‘19 C7 production date adjustments that coincided with BG construction, GM is returning to typical annual production date cycles? Interesting, and yeah, time will tell.

Where do you get your info? I see VIN 2105 as of 3/26/2019 on CAC. I'm not doubting your number just curious. Do you count the pre-production cars, perhaps?
