Hey all you good look'n people. Upon looking at others cars. I noticed a horizontal radiator in front of the main forward tilting rad. Right behind the splitter.

I thought at first it was an auxiliary cooler for the autos, but these cars were all M7. Then I noticed I don't have it. I also have the M7.

What gives? Am I missing something here? I have a manual ZTK car like the others I've seen. Love this car regardless. Any insight is always appreciated.

Mine is a M7 ZTK with no horizontal cooler.

Mine is an A8 and I have the cooler must just be for the auto.

Yup, I was wrong. The 2 I seen, after all, are autos. A friend with a '19 Z06 with an M7 does have the additional radiator.
Hard to see. This manual car has it. But... Z06 is a different animal and probably needs it compared to our ZR's.

yes I do believe its 12 heat exchangers for the M7 and a 13th for the A8 on the ZR1.

I believe on the Z06, it is an auxiliary engine coolant radiator and is an automatic transmission cooler on the auto ZO6's and ZR1's.

thats correct. And a fun fact, GM charges like 800 dollars for people who want to ADD it to their manual transmission cars that did not get it the first time...

but you can buy the cooler and the hard lines that attach to it for under 200 dollars if you look it up under an automatic trans z06 vin number.
