Thought i'd share this with any of you looking to remove your supercharger to port it or any mods to it.

I hope I never have to do that.

Will be interesting to see the performance differences.

Thanks,
D.

That was a cool video but not sure I want to drill a hole in my w/shield cowl just to get that bolt out (is it not easy to remove the cowl instead)?

Anyways, doesn't look too hard to pull the S/C if you needed to, if you've done basic engine work on your vettes you can do this.

Thanks for uploading.

It's not the windshield cowl, we took the windshield cowl cover off to get to that bolt and the fact that this supercharger is bigger then the Lt4s didn't want to risk leaving any bolts in loose as we pulled the supercharger. You never know if a bolt could jump out somehow and drop into the tunnels of the lower intake. So we made sure to grab all the bolts out.

And thank you! It wasn't hard at all. Took about 4 hrs.

Always enjoy your videos! I changed my A pillars and Halo after seeing your videos and how easy it was. Keep up the good work!

Who is doing the port work? Are you going with a larger throttle body or just porting the stock one?

89 in/lbs on supercharger cover bolts and on supercharger to block bolts.

Will definitely be using the specs for torquing down the bolts and using blue locktite!! Also noticed when removing the bolts from the supercharger from the manifold there were a few that were actually loose. This might be something that all might need to check, by at least taking off the supercharger cover and checking all the bolts for torque specs. I would recommend checking these just to make sure, we definitely don't need our superchargers coming loose.
