There is definitely some wisdom in that!

While there may be some options that I could take or leave (like black mirrors on a Sebring Orange), the basic ones had to match my criteria: 3ZR, ZTK, 7-speed or no deal. That was one reason I ordered mine instead of searching for dealer stock.

Anything different from that is surely a chick car! Especially in Torch Red.

If you ever think you want to do any kind of racing, then go with the coupe, plus no automatic, must be the M7, IMO.

Unless of course you’d like to win the race, then perhaps consider the faster automatic offering????

I do standing Mile, roll racing and top speed events, so the automatic is irrelevant in those kinds of events.

Color is a personal preference, the coupe and big wing was the only way to go for me. I have a ZO6 also and they are very nice cars it just depends what you are going to do with your car. But maybe you just want the king of the hill ZR1. I have both the M7 and A8 transmission I thing I prefer the M7 makes you fell more tied to the car, but the A8 is faster one just can not shift as fast as a computer.

Pretty much this. I love the Blue, but for me, I would want the coupe with a stick because I would be tracking the car. If it's a boulevard cruiser, no harm in the A8 with a soft-top. It just depends really on what you want it for. If you have no intentions on ever seeing a track, get the vert w auto. If you plan on tracking, the coupe w the stick.
