Early 2019 ZR1 recall
Hi All,
Just in case those of you lucky guys + gals got an early ZR1 built between 12/8/17 - 5/31/19, there was an SDM airbag recall:

Having seen some photos of wrecked ZR1s on this forum, I hate to see anyone get hurt or worse because their ZR1 didn't get fixed under the recall.
Apologize in advance if this was already posted (I don't recall seeing it)...
Appreciate all the great advice posted on this forum + enjoy this beast!

Yeah it affected my car that I picked up last May. The issue is that if the car sees over 1.8g it assumes there is a sensor issue and it silently disables the airbag. Turns out these beasts can exceed 1,8Gs the software change just increases that threshold. I had the update done to my car and when I wrecked it the airbags went off so all good.
