wow watching this now. I feel bad for him. Mike is such a good guy. But he will learn from this and I'm sure in the end it'll all work out for him. Mike if you see this - good luck, hope it works out for you bro :/

Crazy! where is the listing?

It was a great deal if it's the one I'm thinking of. The guy had like 42 miles on it. 11k under MSRP. It seemed like he went ghost after he listed it.

I understand that it’s difficult to part with such a rare car, especially when it’s such an amazing car that you can’t get anywhere else, but it’s very unfair to Matt and Mike. The decision couldn’t have been more last-second, and it was technically too late as, according to Mike, Whitmoyer technically owns the car. Luckily, for her, Matt and Mike are two great guys that will do the right thing in this situation. As an SS717 viewer, it sucks to have to wait even longer to see him produce sports car/performance car content because of this situation. Mike is probably going to miss an upload or two because he had planned on making a video on getting the car. He now has to spend even more time to go and purchase his “backup plan” car.

Work at a dealership Matt, seriously I would get the car man, no way I would let this happen at my dealership and allow this lady(or anyone) to finesse us. Not saying you did anything wrong, but that is just horrible what she did. Remember Murphy's law , "what can happen will happen." Always be closing my friend, hopefully the next one is a win!

If she signed the paperwork, go get your car. The only reason people do things like this is because other people let them get away with it.
To bail on a deal that involved a business ordering you a $100k car after you signed the papers for the deal is just unacceptable. Don't waste peoples time and money like that.
Most forums I frequent would ban any member who welches on a deal in their "for sale" sections.

Never in my career (15 Years) ... Everything was going smooth, then BOOM... HARD BRAKES... Not selling it, out of nowhere.

Yep that's the one. So sorry dudes. Has to be frustrating to say the least. Hopefully another one will go up for sale. That thing is a fricken beasty looking ZR1. Looks like the devil's car.

I think there was another buyer that was closer, or, she had a friend or family member convince her that something wasn't right. Legally once that contract is signed and a payoff is sent out, the buying party owns the car. Sorry that this happened to you, but you are always learning something new in this business. Everyday is an adventure

Was watching the video right now and came here immediately to check. If Beaver is posting here Mike is probably telling it like it is. Crazy stuff and a weapons grade waste of time. Sorry to hear about it... This is nothing to joke about like it's a $500 minivan.
