Any advice?
For those of you who own a ZR1, I have a question. I’m going to look at a ‘19 ZR1 with 500 miles tomorrow. Are there any issues you’ve experienced that are worth looking into before buying? Thanks.

I do NOT own a ZR1, but spent time riding and driving one recently...My advice and opinion is: Make your Best Deal on the Car if you like the color of both exterior and interior and what type of transmission it has and BUY it.
It really is the BEST Corvette yet...and it is a relative Bargain. I hope you love it when you see it, inspect it, and drive it. Good luck sir.

Ask lots of questions. First one being why are they selling with only 500 miles?? I'd spend the money on a car fax. I've been in the car business over 28 years and have see a lot of crazy ****.. Good luck man!! These things are awesome...

Look at the paint and alignment of body panels very closely. You don't want the body panels to be touching. Close is OK but not touching or very very close to touching. That's where paint can rub off and peel because of contact.

Clean title, fit/alignment of panels, look at rear tires for evidence of many burnouts, oil changed yet?, inside and under hood cleanliness......

Make sure the CCM brake rotors are not chipped on the edges. They are costly to replace. They can get beat up with wheel removal if one is not very careful. GM will not warranty vehicle if taken to track before break in (according to several sources and owner's manual). Not sure whom you would ask on this but check with GM using the VIN.
Also, get the vehicle up to temperature then let sit for 5 minutes - check oil level. If A8 ask if fluid has been flushed and ask which dealer serviced the vehicle at the 500 mile service.

Thanks for the replies. It came in handy. The used ZR1 was in excellent shape, but ultimately I decided to buy new from a forum vendor here. Can’t wait...
