Default 2 things I've noticed after finally putting 1200 miles on my new ZR1..

1. When I turn my cooled seat on the for passenger side I can hear the fan turn on. When I turn it on for the driver side I don't hear it and it doesn't really get cold.

2. My heads up display seems like it is crooked. It isn't straight up and down like my 16 Z06 was.

Has anyone else had these problems??

The seat fan only moves cabin air through it. Not a/c specific air so it doesn't really get cold. You can put the a/c on bilevel and it helps a little, but then you lose some of the dash a/c that really helps the driver more than the seat fan can to cool the cabin down asap.
On the HUD I kinda noticed the same thing. I think it has more to do with the hood of the car being much taller due to the larger blower. I just keep my MPH and speed readout there. They are slightly staggered so it doesn't look as bad. My car is my DD so that serves me a little better.

There is a way to "twist" the HUD a little. Forget exactly how - but it's there. I used it to seemingly straighten mine.

Yeah I know you're saying about the seats but what I'm concerned with is the fact that the passenger seat fan comes on when I push the button and the driver side does not.

I will have to do a little more investigating. Thanks

OK copy that. Both my Z06 and my ZR1 seem to be a little finicky when they want to. Sometimes mine don't come on at all. Especially when it's been sitting out in the hot sun parked at my office. Of course when you want them the most. I'm not taking either of mine to a dealer for such a small issue, especially when they won't do it consistently. Many times they make something worse than what you take it in for and it's always a headache dealing with that.

My buddy is actually a GM world class tech or some **** like that. Lol. He is really good with wiring and tech stuff. I will probably just take it to him. I just wanted to see if anyone else has noticed it before I take it to him and look like a dumb ***.

Nothing dumb about that at all, but I get your point. Please let us know what happens with your car. Having more info about it will help us all.

are you sitting in the d/s when you turn it on and not in the p/s when you turn it on. If so try turning the d/s on while sitting in the passenger seat and then turn the p/s on and see what you get.

HUD rotation is available on '19 Z & is in OM. Pretty cool that all us OCD folks can now play with it to our little heart's content.

Per owner's manual (Page 124):

Head-Up Display (HUD) Rotation Option This feature allows for adjusting the angle of the HUD image. Use the right steering wheel controls to open and scroll through different items and displays. While in the options menu, press (Up Arrow) or (Down Arrow) to scroll to the HUD rotation page. Press (Right Arrow) while Head-Up Display Rotation is highlighted to enter Adjust Mode. Press (Up Arrow) or (Down Arrow) to adjust the angle of the HUD display. Press SEL to save the setting. To cancel the setting, press (Left Arrow). The vehicle must be in P (Park). See Instrument Cluster 0 103.

The 2019 manual is online at
mychevrolet.com

No need to register or anything, You can download a .pdf and it is searchable (yeah, I'm also too lazy to open the glove box and read the actual OM).

Boy I sure am an idiot. This is the 4th Corvette I've owned with the HUD and I never knew that there was a rotational adjustment. And I thought I had read the OM fairly closely. Doh!

I could (probably) be wrong but I think '19 was first year, but I never had a crooked one so didn't search before. I had seen someone mention this feature in another post here.

Copy that, thanks.

Just for the fun of it, I'll look in my Z06 OM to see if it's listed in there. My car is still in the shop for the engine freshen-up and cam change.
