Sent my C7 ZR1 Corvette to Katech. Result was 979 RWHP on PS Cup 2. I was told I would have broken 1,000 with my drag radials (Mickey Thompson ET Street R) but there was a hold up at Forgeline due to high demand.

She's good for 1,700 HP. This summer I'm adding the Magnuson 3.1 and E85. Together this should put me at 1,250 RWHP.

I believe this is the fastest/quickest C7 ZR1 with M7 (MGW short throw shifter) and stock blower with no NOS. She's a joy to drive, and she attracts attention everywhere she goes. The sound of the American Racing Headers with their catless X pipe mated to Corsa Sport to Extreme Exhaust with NPP makes sure everyone can hear you.

Not sure how to post the pictures of the Dyno sheets, but I'll get them on here one way or another.

Sniper_97,

Some reason I cannot respond to your pm, this 7 second C6 you speak of, is it an auto or manual?
Never mind I see you mentioned it has a power glide. So let me get this right, by you telling me that you have a 7 second 1400+ HP 2 speed C6 I am not allowed to ask why you feel that your ZR1 with a manual transmission is the fastest/quickest in the world without any data besides dyno numbers to back it up?

Very exciting build indeed, we are working on a build thread for this car that we are planning to post as well. Can't wait to see what she will push once we can get a 3100 and E85 installed. Wheel slip was a huge issue on the dyno in Michigan which is why the after dyno was funky looking.

Here is a video of the car for those that are interested:

Very nice numbers and with an M7 must be a handful to drive. I didn’t see any track times? Always love seeing high hp cars with a manual trans 🍻

Thank you for the kind words. I'm hoping to get track times this weekend at Bradenton. I'll post the ticket.
No sir, she's an absolute joy to drive. Drives damn close to factory. The cam is awesome. I'm so impressed with the work Katech has done. Unbelievably professional. This is a full race shop and it's equipped accordingly. I have a full blown race motor that's an EVERYDAY driver. I've owned 6 previous Corvettes from a 1970 LS5 454 (dropped a crate LS7 into her in 1973), 1978 Pace Car, two C4 with one being ZR-1, C5 and C6 ZO6. NOTHING compares to this. NOTHING.

That's awesome, nice to see another big power M7 out there. I know what you mean about the noise and attention it draws, not much sounds like a heads/cam ZR1 on the street; at WOT you'd swear it was a damn NASCAR driving by. I genuinely feel back scaring people sometimes when I pass them... sometimes. Good luck, can't imagine how much of a handful it is on Cup 2s!!! If you want something to hold it on the street that isn't a full DR and still provides good handling, I can't recommend the R888R enough.

Yeah, I went back and forth myself. I hadn't done the heads/cam yet so I was okay with Cup 2 tires still, but wanted more options if I went big power. Many people do run the 325/20 R888R's without issue; they aren't 100% ideal, but they do get the job done it seems.

What was done for the fueling? Didn't see those mods listed, unless I just missed it. Great build. Awesome to see an M7. Looking forward to see the time slips.

This car used ID1050X port injectors and a 38% fuel lobe. Stock low side and stock DI injectors/pump.

This one is fueled by a LOT of meth.

Next step will be full E85 fuel system and Magnuson 3100 once it becomes available

"I believe this is the fastest/quickest C7 ZR1 with M7 (MGW short throw shifter) and stock blower with no NOS"

Quite a bold claim, based off of what? Dyno numbers? Seat of the pants feeling? Burnt rubber? I noticed you said you do not have any track times yet.

Yes sir, there are videos on both Instagram and YouTube. I’ll try to upload a video, sir. I’m not the most savvy computer guy who understands everything about computers.
