Oh gorgeous car. I wouldn't trade it for a C8.. Reason being (to me) this c6 427 is more unique and dont see much of them. And not to mentioned C6 body lines are more sexy

Stick with the C6, tough to beat the looks of a C6 wide body

Yup, C6 Z06 production was winding down for the C7 and GM was like lets finally give the Corvette Community what they want...... 427 convertible. And they probably had left over parts to use (brakes, engine, trans, body parts, etc). This car will most likely be worth more than a a C8 down the road collectability wise.

OP should just sell his car and by a brand new C8 spec'd out the way he wants to, right now the big deals are offering $10,000 off MSRP which will be way better than most private part deals. the C8 market has finally calmed down after the craziness of 2020 when it first came out. Then you have the Eray, Z06 and Zr1 the base cars will be getting even cheaper as people upgrade.

Default deciding to keep the 2013 for now

thanks all for your comments, interest, amd messages

after seeing how the current new/used C8 market is rapidly changing and trending, I have decided to hold on to my 2013 427
