Looks like a z06 emblem on the rear quarter.

With the #4 on front and rear windows, left and right exhaust, and driving her in the snow; yeah, E-Ray for sure... As for the tinted rear window, could simply be just that, or we may be in for a nice engine surprise even though the LT2 works just fine...

Maybe the tinted back window is covering up a new engine cover. The Z06 got a new CF cover so the E-Ray may get something new to differentiate it from the Stingray too. Just my guess...

At least on the Z06, this is how it looks on the base car without any optional aero. The optional carbon fiber splitter extends out ever further. Personally, from an aesthetics standpoint I think the car really benefits from the optional splitter but to each their own.

No, motor(s) will go at or just behind the front axle. Inverter goes either on top of motor or between motor and battery.
On the cutaway C8 chassis you can see there is actually a lot of open space right in front of the center tunnel and up to the front axle position. Plenty of room for a front “eBooster” as the team calls it.

One leak said there is still Frunk room and just the lower section is filled with motor.
Posted this pic December 2019 I made from words in the leaked November 2019 article. Was not the first to mention electric front wheel drive, that was Andy Pilgrim in an interview February 2019. Article said the coilover member is split like a wishbone providing a space for an axle.
Pic from that November 2019 article with words I added to pic from that article. Turnes out pretty accurate and supported by Don Sherman (an insider automotive writer in articles in SAE International Mag, last in 2022.) Shows power electronics in front of center tunnel with its own Rad on left front to handle heat from that power electronics. Note AC Chiller, probably like Tesla to cool batteries when high power is used.

The leaked article in November 2019 discussed the change to lower coilover member and how it was split to accept the axile from the center motor (Don Sherman added in a 2022 SAE international article that it's two ~50 hp motors back-to-back, which is logical so they can easily vary power coming out of an apex.)
I need a minimum of 200hp, and a max weight of 200lbs, and a max E-Ray premium of $10k over the Stingray, to even consider it.
